Does the 4.7 have issues with valve springs? I have a 08 in the shop with 80,000 miles that broke one intake spring and tore up alot of stuff. Just wondering if I should replace all the springs or if the one was a fluke.

This would be the first time since 2002 I have ever heard of a 4.7L busting an intake spring... So I would say its not common... at least not yet, you could be the first of many... we will just have to wait and see.

Good to know. I am going back in with the engine tomorrow. Dont really want any problems
