Im not using mine. I have a filter on the end coming from the engine, and a cap on the Intake. It doesnt make a difference performance wise, but it keeps your throttle body from getting all that crap from your engine in it.

Sweet Idea!!! Can you post up some more pictures of that if it's not to much trouble!!!!! Thanks........ :dwave:
I've got the same type of setup on mine. I love the way it looks...and it DOES help keep the TB cleaner.
I am running a breather filter as well. Never had any problems and I have put an easy 20,000 miles on it. I painted the top of my filter to match the rest of my underhood parts.

Yet again.......that looks swwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttt!!!
For those who have these on, can you post the sizes and parts you used. Is there any slight modification to the breather adapter to fit?

I'm with him.......
:metoo:
I am running two of the filters since I thought that an extra filter would look better than a plug in the intake. So one is how everyone else is using them and the other is just off the intake for looks.:D The intake is a Zmok Speed intake off ebay that I painted.

So your just using the original mount that held the “Stock Hat” to hold your filters in
Place!!!!........I like it, that’s a great idea! I forgot to ask… do you like the color blue or something (LOL). That looks killer man!!! Thanks for the pictures. I also saw the pics of when you painted the inside of the truck...it all looks good.

One more thing…. I think I’ve seen those filter at AutoZone. Do you know what size your running??
They are 1.5" at the top and 2" at the bottom. I got a couple of chrome spark plug wire holders at Autozone and cut the holders off the ends of them. The bottom part of the filter sits right down in there and it has a hole on the end to bolt them in the air filter bracket. Thanks for the compliments and yes I like blue.:D

Thanks for the info. Im going to try it and see what I come up with!!! :D
At Advanced Auto Parts, they have breathers in different colors. They only carry two sizes, small or large, use the small one. Over in the section where they have vacuum segments, I bought a plastic elbow to turn the filter 90 degrees to sit upright. I just eyeballed the size I needed. Used some of the hose to come out of the opening and into the filter. I didn't need to, because its a tight fit, but put some hose clamps on anyway. Like everyone says, keeps that residue and crap out of your intake. I used some extra stuff from a Spectre stainless hose cover kit to add some flavor to it. Haven't decided if I like it yet though.
