I have a 98 durango and i am currently sufferinng from the economy life everyone else. In a nut shell one of my caliper bolts was stripped and fell out my caliper came off and now my know my steering knukle looks like shark shit. I went to a local boneyard and they have a 01 durango front end with a blown front diff. It has dual piston calipers and a good knuckle but it has a power rack instead of a gearbox would the knuckles bolton to my truck. The ball jointts look the same but im more worried about tierod boss location and if the calipers would work. Please help!!!!!!!

The 2000 and up Durango use a rack and pinion steering. 1998-1999 D's use a recirculating ball setup.

If you don't need the whole front end just get the caliper. Check out www.rockauto.com

I know that it switched in 2000 i guesss my real question is weather or not it is possible to just bolt the knukle in of a 2000 get an alignment and be ok my knukle is destroyed
