99 2wd quad cab 1500. There is a brake line distribution box bolted to the rear axle. Coming out of the top of mine is a rubber hose that I notice was dragging on the ground today. I'm not getting any indication that there is any thing wrong with the brakes and I'm not losing any brake fluid. Where is this stupid hose supposed to go? It's a little too cold here in Michigan to be laying around on the ground trying to figure out what it used to be connected to. Seems to be plastic fitting with about an 1/8 " hole in it in the loose end. My shop manual doesn't show this distribution box.

Ok,thanks, I guess the service manual talks about removing the vent hose when removing the rear axle but they don't show any pictures of it. I'll see if I can get AutoZone to show me a picture of it.
