Yikes, for the 3rd time I hit the brakes firmly and pressed on the gas peddle at the same time, resulting in little to no braking at all while the hemi powers up. I never had this problem in other vehicles and I presently drive 3 differewnt vehicles. Has anyone experienced this? I compared the gap between the gas & brake peddles withmy friends 2005 - 1500 series, mine had a noticeably smaller gap. Brought it to the dealer and they found nothing wrong. Hope I don't crash in an emergency braking case.

I've never had that happen to me. Do you have adjustable pedals? If so maybe you could try different placement or something.
