I just got back into a ram,01 1500 4x4,318.ShortBed. Anyways I have had dodge trucks before and I remember my 96 not being to kind on highways because of the short wheelbase. This truck is much worse.This one is much higher then my 96 and it is all stock underneath except for coil over absorbers in the back. I am thinking that is what is making it so bouncy.I put it on a lift and they do not appear to be adjustable.I like the fact knowing I have coil over absorbers for extra wieght but I will rarely if ever be overloading it or even getting it close to max cap. Just wondering if any of you short WB guys have had this problem and how did you fix it. I might try adding blocks to the bed tomorrow and see how it rides.

Putting weight in the bed will tame it a bit.

Coil over shocks in the rear? It's probably so bouncy b/c that's adding stiffness to an already stiff suspension, so with no weight it's going to be horrible.
