I promised Hill Billy Joker a few pics of my "ram-plate" bumper a month ago, but life intervened and delayed me quite a bit. Sad story, but this isn't the place.

Here's my bumper. It's designed for a winch, made of wide channel iron, welded together. My Dad incorporated the original grass guard into it. It bolts straight to the frame just like the old bumper did. If you have the steel, and the tools to weld and cut it, you can make this -- hopefully prettier than this if you try a little. :rck:

Now that I'm home more often, I can take as many pics as anyone wants.

I does weigh a lot, and it's slowly wearing through the 6 bolts that hold it to the frame. I'm seriously considering making it smaller, or replacing it.

Problem is, this bumper practically defines the truck in my mind. I had an old friend of my father's recognize this beast a while back, and stop by to say hi to me (since I must be his son!)... and my Dad died in 1984!
