They dont list that tire in the stock size 17" 245-70r17 or even the 265-70r17. the only nitto they list as a direct replacement is the terra grappler. what size were you thinking? :rck:
wont that profile make the wheel well gap bigger and rub?

Actually I had the Nitto 404's and at that time I thought they where the best... untill I found the BFG T/A KDW's. I have the 305 50 20's and in my opinion they are as ig as you can fit and will out perform just about any other tire out there.... just look at them... they look like they could be a drag radial.

Here is the NITTO 404

The BFG out performs the NITTO hands down in hard high speed cornering....Trust me, I can take corners much harder and quicker with the BFG's than the NITTO's... Also the Nittos did not last very long at all either... GREAT tire, but they dont compair to the BFG T/A KDW.

thats a good looking tire. what size do i need to run with just the 2" drop shackles :rck:
I have a 2-4 drop and I run the 305 50 20's without any problems... there is some rubbing going on but nothing to be concerned with.

can't compare an M+S rated tire, to a street racing tire....

plus the cost difference.
Plus they do no tmake that tire in a 305-60-r17
get a 285/60/17 or 295/60/17 if they make them.

EDIT:
I found some Falken 285/60/17 (30.4 tall) for 125.00 each
also some 305/60/17 (31.5 tall) for 123.00 each in Nitto 404.

PS,I have Ran 2 sets of Nitto 404 with absolutely NO complaints and now working on getting my Nitto 420's mounted when I get my new rims.

Wow,Most Hotchkis owners state they Never rub.......whats the difference????;)
215/50/17 is the biggest they make for the bfg. you guys with 20 plus rims get all the good stuff

LOL... not with the body but with the inner wheel well liners... the tires are just so darn FAT, also there is a slight rubbing on the sway bar when making a hard left/right turn... the drop has nothing to do with the rubbing, it was rubbing before the drop. I think the rim offset may be different from one owner to the other... so some may get a slight rub while others may not. Mine has a slight rub. It kinda gently POLISHES more than rubs ...LOL.

Khumo Ecsta 285-60-17. Thats what I got & they're great & cheap all season V - rated tires. I may be selling them if I get new 20's.
You need the bfg 315 70 17s....the tire for all occasions
