The K&N kit works really good, if you use a programmer, that will help as well. The other thing to look for is a 90mm throttle body.
As for the hood scoop, when I was looking I found that most were going to the SRT 8 hood, I chose to go Shaker and it looks great, works well also.
As for dyno figures I have not done that but as you can see I have done alot more to mine.
Remember if you push more air in you will need to get rid of it as well, so don't over look the exhaust.

check chargerfoums, chargerforumz, or lxfourms, there are always people selling there stock srt hoods, or you can look into after market and they be half the price (fiberglass)
