Is there a hold down bracket that would hold or secure the oem battery?

My old Optima Red Top came with a secured bracket that holds the battery in place and secured on the tray.

Got a Gold Duralast and wandering if there was a stock bracket that i need to keep it steady?

The OEM part in the bottom of the tray that wedges against the battery is the same you will use. I have two of those same batteries and no issues

Cool. Gotta look around to see if i still have my OEM bracket part. It was taken off when putting in the Rep Top since it had its own bracket.

Thanks weed.

Also make sure the nut on the bottom of the batter tray is good and will stay in place. They sometimes like to spin

Sorry about this weed but can you post a pic of how you set up the bracket to the battery. I cant seem to wedge the bracket between the tray and battery. This puppy is huge. About 7.5" width and 12" in length.

Part number i think is 65-DLG
