Hi Folkls,

I have posted on this a couple of times, but it has been a while... I replaced my ball joints about 2 years ago with MOOGs, and now the dealer says they are shot - total milage about 30,000 since replacement. I thought MOOGs were not OEM and were better, do I have this right? Is there a better choice when I replace them again? Dealer did not put in the MOOGs, Midas did - half the price.... Incidently, this will be the THIRD SET in 80,000 miles! They also think they need to redo the belly pan gasket they did last fall... it never ends with this truck... Thanks, Mike

All I have heard is Moog is great, and I have them on my wife's D, but have only had it a few months.

Sorry about your problems, and hope you get some input.

Yeah, I hope everyone is not doomed to this... the mechanic at dodge dealer told us this problem was more becuse of the design of the front end that the actual ball joint - this may prove it. I suspect they are undersized given the loads, especially with big tires ... Anyone else blow through MOOGs?
