I recently had my 2wd 03 3.9 Dakota inspected and the shop said that I either have a bad lower Ball joint or bad tie rod ends in the left (driver) side. I just noticed that my upper control arm bushings are bad in the left side. Do you think that is what they were noticing and blaming it in something else? They didn't put it up on a lift, just jacked up the front left and right rear. They took the right rear tire off, but not the front. The person just said that it had a lot of movement.

Find another opinion, that one does not inspire confidence . They should know the difference.
They didn't even mention the upper control arm bushings at all.
The few people that I have talked to said that they believe that it could have been what he was noticing.
