I have notice ever since I got my truck that the oil pressure seems to run on the high side. Sometimes what seens to be very high especially at higher RPM's. Now Im not a mechanic and was hoping to get some feedback on this from those of you "experts". Thanks!

It may appear high on the gauge, but at a idle they are only about 28 to 30 psi hot. Anywhere from 45 to 50 hot at 3k and well over 70 cold. I am sure your oil pressure is fine, if not you will just get a leaky gasket

I take it to the dealer and they do the oil changes regularly. The truck came with free changes for a year and I plan to take advantage of that until January. Maybe after that I will use something different. Any recommendations??

Mine sits around half, all the time :( I wish the gauge was really a gauge instead of a pretty looking idiot light.
