Hey Homey I have the resistor and directions on how to install left over from my Transgo shift kit. It's not doing me any good so if you want it I'll give it to you when you drop off the bumper, or when I see you at the strip. I'm not sure what size it is, it doesn't say and it's not marked other then three stripes on it. Anyway it's yours if you want it.
What color and order are the stripes in {that id's the resistor}, and could you post the install directions?
Thanks..

Is it something I can install at the strip?? I kinda want to do it before I go to Dallas though so that I can get afeel for the new shifts. I was told that it would shift a little quicker, so I'm gonna have to learn how to shift it manually for when we hit the track.
Give me a minute and I'll upload pics....

That be it!!
Sweet..
Could you list the colors though..
Looks like gold, brown/tan red red?
L.
It looks like a tan body, one gold stripe, and three red stripes.
Cool.
Thanks...!
I will go to foreaker Electronics here on Monday and match it up, and if their cheap {prob 1.00 or so a piece} I will get enough for a few people on here that might want one..
Free if they are cheap enough..
{Only if they are going to use it}

If I read it correctly that means the resistor is a 2200ohms -5% toletance

If they say do not use this mod with a programmer, what is the drawbacks???

I believe the 04' up Superchips increases line pressure, which is what the resistor mod does. So both together is too much, but I think it's okay with the 03 Superchips....I think someone should check for sure though.
You are correct, it is okay to use it with the 03's since the Superchips does not increase the line pressure. On the 04's and above it will put your line pressure above 200 psi with the superchips and then boom. :)
Wow.... time to dig out the box of resistors!!!
