I talked to the magnaflow dealer in my area about an exhaust system for my truck and he said that since my truck had the mds(shuts 4 cylindes down at cruising speeds) an exhaust would kill my gas mileage and sound like crap. He went on to tell me that my engine needed alot of back pressure when it drops the cylinders. Im not sure he knew what he was talking about, but just wondered if anyone out there had tried any exhaust systems or heard of anything, any advise.... greatly appreciated

I started off with hd 50 flowmaster and took of both resonators (not sure if 07 has one or two) and it sounded good.

I have the same truck you have. It has a flowmaster super 44 with the resonators cut off and dumped. No change in fuel mileage. Thinking about straight pipe out the side with two 4" chrome tips welded together.

yeah, it has two reasontators, and like i said i dont think he knew what he was talking about. . . . thanx i'll be checking those out asap!!!
