Well, I'm outta here....it's been fun, but the D's gone. It was my son's truck, and his primary transportation.
He got punched in the rear end over the weekend...hard enough that the bolts attaching the hitch pulled sideways out of the frame and the drivers seat back collapsed. Bolts didn't break, their still attached to the reinforcing plates. Body shop / insurance have been looking at it for 2 days. Frame damage is extensive enough that, given the mileage, their going to write it off.
On the bright side...he didn't get hurt (surpisingly) and the truck probably saved his life. His previous wheels were a 2 seat Honda DelSol. The same hit probably would have ended up with him pushed into the engine compartment.
