I have a 5.2 liter 4x4 and recently its been shutting off on me. I took the battery to autozone cause it was completely drained so i had them charge it. Well sure enough it drove fine for two or three days but after that the battery started to go dead and so would the truck. It goes dead as i'm driving It isn't the battery cause it tested well in the charge and load test and i replaced the battery terminal wiring cause it had some corrosion. Could this be the alternator.

You should be able to take the truck to the same Autozone and have them test the Alternator.

It should put out about 14vdc at idle.

yup, autozone tests the alternator and battery for free. Just pull up and go in and tell them you need to get your alternator checked.
