Full Air ride..

Ekstensive Metal works in Houston

ekstensive.com they make a front lower control w/ new upper mounts and shocks for about 625 ..

Weld in installation. and lower ball joint is a chevy ball joint that you must ream your spindle out so the balljoint comes up from the bottom (also the tie rod end must be flipped to eliminate bump steer)

The rear can be built like any hot rod or Mini truck.. 4,3, or 2 link.. All a matter of what you want.. and bag on bars is a pretty hot setup these days cause you can get like 2 feet of lift ..

If you don't want custom you can get Air ride tech for twice the cost and it doest go all the way to the ground. If you want air ride installed go to streetsourcemag.com and post a request in the forums there... its all my kinda peoples. ;D

Remember you get what you pay for...

If you have any questions let me know.. I also have pics in my profile and SSM profile

I figured at least probably about 2500 I just didnt want to spend like 5k+ to do everything. Is your truck your daily driver? Or do you have something else? When you say art you mean professinal parts no custom? Well Ive been talking to my tech( i work at a dodge dealership im a service advisor)and we are thinking about maybe doing a flip kit and then only use one leaf spring and then put a bag between the axle and frame for the rear. That way i could still make sparks but maybe not get into a whole lot of money. The front just leave it with like spindles and non adjustable. Just asking for your thought

mono leaf(running one leaf) i do not recommend..

If you want cheap. BUild a 2 link ..

go to suicidedoors.com order a endlink bushin set (2) and weld them to 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 1/4 inch wall steel bars.. and build blocks on the bars.. then use your u bolts and bolt the axle to the bars.

But bag brackets on the bar as well as the frame..

I love this guy's setup if you notice how he reinforced the bag mounts as well as how he raised the gas tank @ at least 2.5 inches.. but notch the cab so you can raise it 3 inches.. so you will never drag the tank

Here is a pic of a 2 link with 3/4 thick still welded to the bars ( THIS IS A TRACK BAR)
I have 2x2 1/4 wall sqaure tubing as my track bar.. it just seems more sturdy then 3/4 plate like is in the picture.

well ive got a lot of questions now. Im looking at your suicide doors.com site. I found a tank i that has 1/2 ports can i still use 3/8 port bags? Like I said i am new to the air ride idea. So how does it work? I mean how many valves do i need? I think right now im just going to try the mono spring idea. Im just going to bag the rear for now? So would the 2600 firestone bags be okay for that? How many port tank do I need? i would think it would be a 2 port tank. And is 3 gallon tank big enough. What is a pressure switch?im sorry ive got some many ?'s.

First of all dont be sorry for asking questions.. i would rather someone know everything before they start, Rather then half ass there rides and waste money it just puts a sour taste in your mouth. you know..

Our trucks are heavy and big a 3 gallon tank will not be enough to lift it.

8 Gallons at a minumum (you can get an 8 port 8 gallon tank for like 45 bucks)
you can have 1/2 ports on your tank and 3/8 on your bag.. your bag fitting will be 3/8 thread with 1/2 inch NPT end..

Run 1/2 line other wise the air will be very slow..

I recommend on valves either al 3/8 ( to save money) or 4 3/8s (for down) and 4 1/2 (for up) the best cheapest valves are E air valves .. like 29 bucks each.. the best bang for the buck...

Vavles you need will vary depending on how many valves you have ports in tank. etc... you just have to sit down and draw up a fitting diagram..

back to your how many ports in your tank.. the less ports and more t's you have to put off of liines the slower your air will be.

Pressure switch i would run a 145-175
make sure your compressor you get will run 200 pci though.. other wise if you get a compressor rated for 150 .. you will burn it up..

if you do go with a compressor rated @ 150 psi... get a 110-145 pressure switch.. but im telling you , you will not be happy with with that setup.. big trucks like ours need the volume 200 psi can push out.

Firestone 2600's will be fine..

if you have more q's just ask em..

so if i get a 8 gallon 8 port tank. i need 8 valves correct? and how many psi do my valves need to be? what does the pressure switch do? It shuts off the compressor when it has enough air correct? Also do i need to go with a bigger battery if im running the compressor? And on the air line do i need 50 or 100 foot? Another question is, should i run one switch to both bags or have each bag on its own switch? And the gauges measure how much air you have in the bag right?

100 foot of 1/2 and 50 or 1/4 ..

I recommend AIR MANAGEMENT KIT # 4 $1099.99 Call to Place order

· TWO VIAIR 450 COMPRESSORS
· TWO 5-GALLON 8-PORT AIR TANK
· 4 GC 3/8" VALVES 250 PSI (DUMPS)
· 4 GC 1/2" VALVES 250 PSI (FILLS)
· 10 SWITCH BOX "ANY COLOR"
· PRESSURE SWITCH
· RELAY FOR COMPRESSOR
· 2 DUAL NEEDLE 200PSI GAUGES
· 1 SINGLE NEEDLE 200 PSI GAUGE
· 50' OF 1/2" DOT AIRLINE
· 50' OF 1/4" DOT AIRLINE
· 4 AIRLIFT GEN 2 BAGS 180 PSI

But get the 380 compressors not the 450's and make sure you tell them the 145/175 pressure switch.. and you could use another battery but not needed.. yes the pressure switch shuts off when the tank reach's that pressure.

Switches.. i m runnin 6 one for front bags, one for rear. and one for each individual wheel.. incase i need to adjust side to side.
