Insert ignition key in slot and turn to enable or disable the passenger airbag
Air Bag knob in REGCABS
For you REGCAB owners
On the dash where they have the off on for the Passenger Seat Air Bag is there supposed to be a knob in that hole .
If not how do you turn it off and on
Mine has no knob just a recessed hole
Wonder if they left it off at the factory ?

Mine has a keyhole, for the ignition key or any key will work I think.

Well they do mention the key BUT it is not on the page where they tell you to turn it Off and On
Damn, who'd need anything? I'd see a hole that looks for a key... I'm sticking some key in there.

That's odd... every one I'd seen where you can turn the airbag on and off it looks like a pretty obvious key slot.

uncbob, I don't think they are talking about skeleton keys, our trucks use those new-fangled, smaller keys.
If you drive by yourself often I'd recommend turning that POS on the passenger side OFF! I'm just now finding out hoe expensive it is to replace 2 airbags and 2 seatbelts, all of the above wern't even in use at the time of the wreck. Damn all this new school safety mumbo jumbo crap. From now on if it's me that pass. is getting turned off for sure.
