ok im gonna buy a neww hood within the week, i got my money i just need to hear the answer to my question.



will i have to worry about rain and snow if i get like a funtional air hood??? will i have to worry about water and so on??? im thinking pry not cuz the evos and wrx run around here all the time so im thinking i pry wont?? anyhelp would be appriciated oh and which should i get carbonfiber that looks like the rks hood alot of people have or a actual functional hood???

nope... you will befine. it will just take a little more time to clean under your hood.

You will be fine. I have one: RKSport Viper Hood and it seals quite nicely to my AIRAID CAI and any small amounts of water that could get in it would get blown right out the hood intake:

all of the aftermarket hoods have some provisions for rain water. my custom ram-air hood does not. any rain water would end up straight in my motor. there for, my setup is for dry weather only.
