Hi i got a 2004 dodge ram 1500 hemi QC truck with an infinity System my question is that when i had my factory radio in i was able to use the remote buttons on the back of the steering wheel now that i installed a after market radio (pioneer) now i can't use the buttons on the steering wheel now is there a way i can use it with the new deck or is that a factory thing only.

Thanks in advance.

welcome to dt!!!

some aftermarket will have an option for external remote... not all can do it though... check crutchfield.. i believe there is an adapter you can buy so you can use your steering wheel buttons..
Buy a PAC SWi-X controller module. It will allow you to control most all aftermarket radios. The exception being some Sony decks, maybe a few others it doesn't. They cost between $60-$75 typically online. Crutchfield.com should offer them also.

Edit - Heres the link on Crutchfields website

No problem, they are pretty cool form what I hear. I need one still so I can use my factory steering controls too. :)
