I have a 3" skyjacker lift on my 97 ram 4X4 plus 1" custom blocks in rear. I'm not sure of the exact lift kit, but it did come with rear leafs that replaced the 3" stock blocks and new coils in front. I was wondering if I could replace the 3" lift coils with 5" lift coils? Do I have to change other things as well. I know I will have to change brake lines and shocks and I do have the track bar adjuster and plan on the drop pitman arm. What else am I getting into? For the rear I want to remove the 1" block and put the 3" stock blocks back in. Any help on this?

The 3" blocks wont have the right angle for the axle, it might be ok though, just more wear on the joint. IMO

To go to 5" lift coils, youll need a trac bar drop, pitman arm drop, longer upper and lower control arms, brake line drops, sway bar drops. Basically you need everything from a 5" lift.

UUMM Terson? What 3" SJ lift did you get that comes with an AAL that "replaced" the stock 3" rear blocks?
Sorry, you did say rear "leafs" not AAL.
Been a long-hard-hot week in the cooling business!
