I am trying to find out if my 1999 dodge ram 2500 has an add a leaf spring in the back. The truck has holes in the bed where it looks like it use to have a fifth wheel in it and it rides really bad right now so I am thinking it has one but I am trying to figure out how to tell. Does anyone have an oem parts diagram of the rear leaf spring so I can compare it to mine or any other way for me to tell?

Should just be another leaf on top of the rest of the pack. Got some pics?

These trucks do come with an over load springs from factory by the way.

Count your leaves and report back.

Looks like you got a factory overload spring up top there. I would say if you still need more to go with a set of air bags. Deff worth the money.

So i guess this is normal and the rest of your guys 2500 ride this rough. I know it should ride rough but I was thinking that mine was worse then normal.

Yes its normal to ride a bit rough. I have a camper on my truck and the add a leaf helps. I'm still contemplating air bags though as it "sways" a bit on rough roads or in high wind.
