I know this isn't about a ram but these ram forums get looked at more often. sorry in advance. i wrecked my car last night just after leaving work. its a 2001 intrepid fitted with side torso air bags. my car slid in the snow sideways into a pole caving in the passenger side door. the speed limit is about 60 km/h so i was wondering what speed does it take for these side impact air bags to go off at. i was travelling at about 55 but the officer says i was doing at least 80. thank you in advance.

I don't know the answer, but I take it you are alright? -And that's a great thing. I take it that your from Canada or some place in Europe, with the 60 km/h. reference. Someone here has the answer. Bump!

Glad to hear your alright. Dont have any answers for your question.

Just for future reference if it is a Dodge product there are other forums like maybe the 2nd Gen Intrepid.
