My ac compressor is kicking on and off without the switch being turned on. What causes that?

I was experiencing this as well before. I checked every component on the circuit and could not find a problem. but after this it went away. maybe there was a loose connection of stuck relay or something, i dont know. even more strange i could "control" the compressor switch (the indicator light at least) be wiggling the ignition!? that also went away at the same time. this may not be that helpful but you can just try wiggling and/or reseating the circuit components. if you need further assistance i have the diagrams if you need them.

Thanks i'll try the connections this weekend. I also have something wierd going on with my key switch and shifter.
