I have been recently having trouble with the air on my truck going down the road with the air on it works fine but if i try to pass someone of downshift to drive like going up hill seems like anytime the truck revs past about 2250 the air cuts out for a second until i back off a little and then it works fine didn't bother me at first but its hot down here in July :help:

There is a vacuum line that comes out of the firewall,it comes out of the firewall by the heater core tubes..make sure that the line doesn't have a crack or a hole in it if it doesn't make sure that the check valve is good if not replace the check valve this will correct your problem
