OK Here is a question for any of you brake experts, I have a 99 R/T with apprx. 13,000 miles. I noticed the other day that there seemed to be a smell of brake heat coming from the pass. side. After looking into it a little further I noticed that the caliper & wheel on that side were quite a bit hotter than the driver side. I know that the engine is offset to the pass. side & the exhaust manifold is almost on top of the A arm. I am wondering if the offset is enough to cause a heat sink situation? I jacked the truck up & both wheels spin freely, so I dont think that the caliper is sticking nor a wheel bearing. Thanks in advance for ANY input or advice????
