i have a 98 ram 2500 with some type of problem. the transmission sounds like it s slipping and the rpms go up an down. seem like it starts at about 40mph on up to 70 .Ive bought new fuel injectors and pump,new tps sen .Had new silonoids put in the trans.Iam taking a lot of crap from my co workers about buying a dodge :help:

can you tell if it's the torque converter locking & unlocking?
Ride the brake (just enough to make the tail lights come on) to keep the T/C from locking, see if it still happens.
from the speed you described, that is the range the T/C locks up.

can you be a little more specific in you descriptions.

do you mean, yes you did ride the brakes and it would still lock & unlock?
if that is the case, then you have some more serious issues.
The t/c should not lock when the brakes are applied.

If it actuated with the break pedal pressed, then you may have wiring issues.
May be time for a trip to the tranny shop.
