have you checked the bulbs? You may also have a bad headlight switch.
98 Dodge Ram Rear lights not working
Hi I have a 98 dodge ram... the rear lights aren't working. Break Lights work, blinkers work, hazards work, when reversing lights work.. front lights work.. just can't drive it at night because the rear lights won't come on.. any ideas, suggestions.. i have checked the fuses/realays.. all are good

i have replaced the bulbs, the headlight switch i haven't.. is there a simple way to tell if that is bad?
only way i could think of for testing it would be to take it out and leave it hooked up and get a test light to test the terminals on it. i am sure somebody else on here has a better way.
could that also explain why the fog lights work only sometimes?
