Ordered new lifters, a cam, 222/226 .515/.521" 114° LSA, and 135# beehive springs. The long block is nearing completion.

Looks like a nice clean truck. Great job with covering the basics, by the way. Way to show how a simple tune-up can boost the mileage right back to where it should be!
I agree. Good looking truck! Nice find.

Finally pulled the old engine, transmission & driveshaft out. Working on the ground is a pain, wish I jad a lift. Now to dress up the new engine.
