Hello all,

I have a 97 Dodge Dakota sport 3.9 5 speed. It fires right up every time if it is over 50 degrees outside. If it is any colder out and has sat either overnight or while I am at work. It decides that it is going to crank and crank and crank and then finally kick over. Once running it is good to go. I do not have the cash to take it to a mechanic(3 teenagers eating all of my food). Any ideas I was thinking fuel pump but that makes no sense if it is fine over 50 degrees. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

I don't really know too much but I think the cold weather does mess with vehicles starting so there wouldn't be a problem the engine just has to warm up (but I'm not 100% positive)
