I have a new starter, alternator, and battery. My van keeps cutting off and I need a charge every time. I notice when I push in the kill switch I can start the van, if the battery is charged. I think the kill switch is killing my power. How can I disable it myself?

Kill switch? That's definitely not OE.

I have you tested the charging system while the van is running? You need anywhere from 13.5V-14.5V.

I would by-pass the kill switch if you can.

You may just be able to solder the wires together that go to the switch, thus by-passing it.

I had something similar on my '94 that I did the same thing to.

Is there anyway you post a picture of what you have?

You have something that is not factory installed so it's hard to know exactly what you have. There could be a million possibilities of what you have. If you can snap a pic and post it, we will be glad to help in any way we can.

I know it's frustrating. I have 3 vans and one time or another they've pissed me off too.
