Thanks for the links but I already have the distributor info. I'm wondering, since I heard it's possible, how to physically modify the carb so I don't have to buy a new one.

Duh..silly me, I should've read your question better. I'm not exactly sure how you would go about that. You may have to buy a carb. for an earlier model that did not use electronic feedback.

You need a non electronic Carter BBD, a non electronic distributor, and some other various parts. I started buying stuff but never got around to putting it all together. Lean Burn sucks.

EDIT: Oh and this was on my 79 Diplomat. Electronic Spark Control, as it was properly called. I just put a mopar Orange ICU and it ran alot better, and didn't ping any more.
