I think the 6.1 should of at least been an option for the 2500 trucks in place of the 5.7. The Chevy's have the 6.0 in there 3/4 tons, I have one in my work truck, it is a great motor. The 6.1 with different tuning and heads could have made a big difference in the durability of the 3/4 ton trucks. Now maybe they could throw the 6.4 in them since the 6.1 is going away, we can dream can't we?
