I've been thinking about what it would take to swap out my 360 in my 2002 1500 for a 5.7 hemi? I found a motor and trans on ebay that includes the alternator, a/c, power steering, computer and wiring harness. What else would it take to complete this swap? And would the motor mounts line up even close, or would I need to fabricate some?

does the engine and trans come with all the wiring and computer? if not you will need all of that or a stang alone controller which isnt cheap.
you will have to make motor mounts and transmission mounts that fit.
custom drive shaft im sure. probably lots of other stuff.

most people are going to tell you its not worth the money and if you really want a hemi to sell your truck and buy one with hemi in it.

Yeah it comes with the wiring harness and the computer. I'm sure it would be easier to just buy another truck with a hemi but I wouldnt think this swap would be too bad as long as I have all the parts. Plus this way would be a lot more fun
