Yesterday, I pulled into the gas station and turned off the motor. I let the truck sit on level ground for about 15 minutes. I checked the oil and it looked like it needed about 1.5 quarts.

Questions?
Is there something wrong or is this normal?
I didn't panic because I thought I remembered someone telling me the Hemi's are slow to let the oil flow back down into the pan.

I will checked the oil after letting it sit for 8 hours today.

Next Question.
Do the hemi's burn oil. If in deed it does need oil added. I live in Erie, PA and tend to use my remote start to let the motor run for about 30 minutes at a time...

Is the motor covered under the drive train warranty?

Thanks...

Don't let it idle for 30 minutes not good for it at all. And no it shouldn't be burning oil.
