Can someone tell me what the stock size valves are in the original heads on a 1997 dodge ram 5.2?What kind of power can I expect if I use the original heads on a 408?I have read somewhere that the 5.2/5.9 use the exact same heads.

1.92 intakes, 1.60 exhaust, and yes they are the same head as on the 5.9. I would recommend some R/T heads from Mopar with 2.02 intakes, or at least some ported stock heads with 1.97 intakes.

how much more hp are we talking from 5.2L heads to R/T heads? Would there need to be any fuel upgrades to accomdate these?
