Thanks for reading this request for info. Any help is appreciated. I recently bought a 2000, 4X4 SLT 1500, shortbed reg cab pickup with 123K miles. Has like new highway tires with recent balancing.

It's steering was a little loose going straight down the road. Also felt a little choppy when going around corners. Installed a new steering damper which pretty much eliminated any choppiness while turning. There still seems to be a little floating at highway speeds. Is there an adjustment or faulty part "most likely" to need attention now or soon? Something I should keep an eye on?

Thank you again, John

Take a look at your track bar, they are known to cause that issue as they wear out.

Yeah the track bars can do that, and get the rotors resurfaced they really shake the truck when stopping. Did you crap in that toilet? If you are really wealthy, why the mobile home? or is it just on your vacation land?

The pitman arm shaft on the gear box could have play or could be worn.
A bad trac bar would cause DW (Death Wobble) and or drifting
