could some let me know what is all invalved or all the parts i will need to replace the 4.7 in my 03 ram and replace it with a 5.7 hemi with M.D.S
Im capable of doing the work just don't know what i all need to do the whole job.

you need an engine, transmission, wiring harness, i think the radiator is different, PCM, TCM, Body controller, Dash harness, gas pedal assy., new drive shaft(s)


Id be cheaper just buying a new truck.

there is a yellow dakota that did a how-to on a 4.7 to a 5.7 hemi swap... forgot his name but I dont think there are too many dakotas running around with a hemi in their name/under the hood

I wish I would have kept my old Dakota. It was a 2wd club cab 4.7L 5 speed. That would have been fun as hell with a Hemi.
