A question for you gear guys out there. I want to install 4.56 gears in my 04 1500 4X4. I got a quote of $1279.29, front and rear, installed, tax included. Is that a reasonable price?

It would cost you less to DRIVE up here and have him do it.

2x4 Part labor installed out the door for 425.00
4x4 parts laboe installed out the door for 800.00

Go to Jason (Texas Drivetrain Performance) in Fort Worth it should be worth the difference in price, pluss you can break them in on the way home. This is where everyone in the are goes and no one has had any problems.
