I have a 2005 2500 Cummins 4x4. I plan on putting a 6" susp lift and running 37x13.5 tires. My rims will be 17x9 and a slight neg off set. Will the lift be high enough? I have seen numerous trucks with this set up but I also see trucks with 8" for 37s. Some sites say you need 8". It will primarily be used on the street so I should be fine right? I wont be on the trail so I wont need articulation but I might throw it in the mud. Will I be ok?

Hell yeah you'll be able to clear 37's. I have a 04' 1500 4x4 w/ 6" skyjaker suspension and I can run 37's so I really dont think you'll have a problem at all.

Check byrdawg13's truck out. Its a 2500 4x4 cummins with a 6"lift and 37's.

Not sure on the 13.5 width and the neg. offset.

I'm currently running 37x12.5x17's with stock wheels(no problem)Rub at full lock.
I just ordered some 17x9's(0 offset,5bs) I should be ok,
But,mine are 12.5 not 13.5.
