So the 295/70-17 tires will fit the stock aluminum 17" wheels on an '04? Is that right? Can the dealer reprogram your speedo for this size?

You may need to crank the torsion bars a little. But they will fit, lots of guys are running 315/70s with a leveled front end. Yes the dealer can calibrate. Some will do it free, others charge as much as 1 hr labor.

we have 295/70-17 on our 06 trx4 stock ride height. IDK it urs it lower or not but they dont rub at all

Thanks for the replies. I had 285s on my previous 1500 and it was VERY close to rubbing the upper A-arm on the inside sidewall of the tire. So I wasn't sure. I'm thinking about the 295 Terra Grapplers. Hopefully I can talk the dealer into recalibrating the speedo for me for free. We'll see...
