I have a 05 2500 CTD 4x4 quad cab and when i hit a sharp bump or small pot hole going about 65-70mph the truck starts shaking real bad. It does not go away until i slow down to about 50mph. At first i thought it was the shocks so i just replaced them and thats not the problem. The truck only has 40k miles on it. Any solutions?

yeah i had the exact same thing. i brought it to the dealer and they balanced the tires and that fixed the problem.

Search for "Death Wobble"

Do you have larger tires and/or leveling spacers? Seems that most trucks with that problem do. I've read about tires out of balance and bad track bars as causing the problem.

Make sure you inspect all the bushings on the front suspension and steering as well. A bad bushing will cause play, allowing the death wobble. A worn out tie rod end on the tie rod, drag link, or trac bar will do the same.
