Hi All!
My '89 W150 (200000 miles) is going to get retired to farm duty this summer and I'm looking at a 3/4 ton 4WD to replace it. I've got a couple of lines on the 5.9L cummins in a '97 and '99. I'm curious what the general feedback for these years/motors is. I've been told that the diesal gets much better mileage than the 318/360. Any truth to that? I'm looking at standard cab with auto (because I don't see many manuals out there, although that would be my choice)

mileage

I also have a cummins 5.9L auto,

Mine does 1 liter per 7 kilometer (sorry i don't know the mileage in gallons but there are programs for calcs..) on the highway and 1 on 5 kilometer in the city.

As far as i know these are normal values
