Hi there,

New to the forum and this has been my first new car ever purchased.

I was wondering what would be the downfall of putting winter tires on my Dart without adding / purchasing another set of those tire monitoring sensors?

Would the only thing I would have to worry about is seeing some light or error on my dash? Or would it make my Dart think it is constantly loosing traction? I could live with just an error or indicator showing on the dash.

Thanks in advance!

Narfski,

Welcome to the forum!

If winter tires are installed without the tire pressure monitors, the indicator light will remain illuminated. Your traction control will remain operational.
