2009 dakota stalls when at stop sign

Hi all,

I see there are a few posts about stalling in older years for dakota but didn't see any for 2009.
I have replaced:
2 filters in transmission
Throttle housing
Pressure sensor in transmission

Dakota stalls when stopped at a stop sign... hits 500 rpm and its fine then dips below... stutters then shuts off.
If I am in park, it idles perfectly with no issues

Transmission has been flushed and topped up.

Any ideas?

not specific to dakota.
if stalls when pressing brake, look at leaking vacuum brake booster
vacuum leaks
pull the vacuum hose off the brake booster, plug the vacuum line, drive the truck somewhere with no traffic (your neighborhood) since it will be hard to brake without the vacuum assist.
less likely since idles fine in park :clean idle air control valve so you can move the plunger in and out by hand smoothly
don't replace anything unless you diagnosis shows it's bad
