Ordered today via Dan @ Fastman.

Dan is going to get me a new TB from his local dealership, port it and ship it to me for $185. Not bad, the TB is right at $100 (his cost). 75 for porting, 10 for shipping it to me.

Should get it by the end of the week or early next week. I won't get any dyno numbers or anything, but I'll make sure to post my thoughts when I get the new TB!

He's buying a new TB, so no core is involved.

I am keeping my core - as the truck is leased. So I will have a ported TB to sell in August 2010 with probably 8K on it.

Is this mod good for stock trucks? What kind of gain are we talking? See my mods below.

From what I have read the HP/TQ gain is not much (5?) but throttle response is much better.

My truck is pretty stock as well, CAI / Exhaust / Power Wire / Superchips.

I'll post some thoughts when I get it though.
