Ok, I bought me a MyGig REN radio today for my 2008 Dodge Ram Laramie. I have read through all the mygig thread and see I need a few "extras" to make this work. I spoke to my local 5 star today and he said the connections are the same in the back...so I ask, why the Lockpick? Is it for the DVD unlock or because you truly need it to integrate into the older system? Next question...why coasteltech? Ebay has these things for $210, lot cheaper and feedbacks are all positive. And if iw anted...I guess any place is good for a camera for the back right?
Also-the factory sirius tuner...dealer said he "thought" the adapter for this is the same as well and should just plug into the back...? Do I still need that adapter? Part# 05064159AD
Finally...I understand I need a uconnect jumper as well. But I think I read that someone stated their are different mirrors and will require different jumpers?
