Hello, i have recently decided to get a lift and after looking at tons of internet junk iv settled on a level. I have a few questions though. 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab short bed. Tires are same size at stock.

1) Iv read a 2" level is the max you can go while keeping everything else stock. Is this true and if not, what is the level?
2) I have checked multiple prices and one will have a 2" level for $35 and a few lines down they will have another 2" level for $130. They seem to be made of the same poly material.
3) Also found that a 2" lift isent actually 2", it's higher. So if that's the case, what inch lift do i need?
4) Lastly, id like to change my 12 year old shocks. So based on the inches needed(hey now!), what size shocks should i get?

Thankyou for your time!

David
