So, I am trying to replace my drums on my 2004 dodge Grand caravan 3.3L. Here's the problem that I ran into. I went to one of the auto shops here in town and they have me a pair of drums that supposedly fit. Took off my tire and the existing drum, went to put on the new drum and it's cm's off. Can anyone help me find the one that I need?

You may need to retract the brake shoes so the drum can fit over them. Can you see the star wheel that adjusts the brakes?

Definitely need to loosen the star wheel as the new drum has no wear it will be tight.

The last resort take them to O Reilly's they turn drums for cheap have the take a truing pass of say .0005

Unfortunately no. They still don't want to go on correctly

Are the shoes new ?

Yes the shoes are new.. the drum in the pic is the old one, which fits. But I just don't how to order one like it since the one that the auto shop gave me doesn't fit even after turning.

I would take that old drum to the auto parts store and have them make sure the one your getting has the same dimensions which are posted on the old drum along with the part # which also looks like it is posted on the drum
